New Orleans Hornets v Washington Wizards

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/25 – DFS Lineups

New Orleans Hornets v Washington Wizards

Here are a few of my core DraftKings players for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy contests, Tuesday 1/25/16.

Point Guards

J. Wall – $9,200
I love Wall tonight as his tough OPRK will make him less owned than he should be, even though he is playing at home in a very high point total game, is matchup proof, and is one of the few players in the league capable of going off for 80.

E. Payton – $6,300
His inconsistency this season keeps his price reasonable, and he has averaged over 35 minutes and 35 fppg the last 3 games so I will continue to ride the hot hand at a discount.

Shooting Guards

T. Evans – $7,500
I’ll be targeting a few players from this high point total game tonight in New Orleans. Evans should be fully recovered by now from his knee injury after a few games back, and has a huge ceiling. I like to lean toward the big name SG’s when they’re at home, especially in high scoring games like this one.

Small Forwards

K. Leonard – $8,000
Leonard’s price has dropped in the last 9 games by $700, mostly due to the Spurs beating the crap out of teams and Leonard sitting late. However at Golden State, expect Leonard to play 35-40 and the point total is one of the top 3 tonight. Great price and matchup for him tonight.

T. Ariza – $5,200
With Dwight Howard out, the Houston big men will all get a little more time and production. So far it appears Ariza is taking the most advantage by having 2 big games in a row, and his price is still the same. Add to it the matchup and high point total and you got yourself a stew.

Power Forwards

J. Smith – $4,000
Has played good minutes and had solid productions in his couple games so far with the Rockets, and with Howard out and the matchup he’s an especially good bargain.

Centers

J. Sullinger – $5,500
Aside from a really poor game 2 games ago, Sullinger produces when in. Safe bet for 20-30 and if Boston goes big at Washington tonight then he could see 30+ minutes and score another 40-50. High point total here as well.

S. Hawes – $4,100
Really making the most of his new starting role and getting 30+ minutes. If he can play like he has the last couple then he’s a steal at $4,100.

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/23 – DFS Lineups

joseph-young-nba-preseason-new-orleans-pelicans-indiana-pacers

Here are a few of my core DraftKings players for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy contests, Tuesday 1/23/16.

Point Guards

D. Lillard – $9,200
Kobe’s farewell tour stops at Portland, and I think Lillard gets up for it. Obviously a superb matchup for Lillard who will always get you 30+ and can go off for 70. The line is 10 as well, so it might stay close enough to keep him in the majority of the 4th.

D. Schroder – $4,900
Schroder has one of the best matchups of the night vs the Suns who are the 29th ranked defense and 30th vs the PG. Although his minutes and scoring is inconsistent, he’ll usually get you 25+ and has gone for 40+ more than a couple times.

Shooting Guards

K. Middleton – $7,300
A great price for a guy that gets 30-50 fppg every night, and playing vs the high paced, poor defense of the Pelicans.

J. Young – $3,600
3 games of about 30 minutes in a row, and a ton of production. Seems to be aggressive when he’s in and unafraid to shoot. George Hill was out and Monte Ellis got in foul trouble early last game which inflated Young’s minutes, but a great price nonetheless for the budding rookie.

Small Forwards

G. Antetokounmpo – $7,400
Below average night last night, I look for him to bounce back huge vs the Pelicans in that high point total game.

Power Forwards

K. Porzingis – $7,300
Charlotte somewhat weak vs the PF, and Porzingis is an extremely consistent 30-45 fantasy point scorer. Averages a more than a fp/min.

E. Ilyasova – $5,600
A decently high point total in this one at 206 and Denver allows points. I think he’s a great price as he will get you your 30 and can shoot threes, and sometimes doesn’t mind taking a lot of them.

Centers

M. Turner – $4,100
Great value play as he plays at Sacramento in what should be a high scoring game. Kings defense is weak, and Turner has been turning it on getting big minutes and big production the last 3 games.

tom-brady-steven-jackson

NFL DFS – Playoffs – Conference Championship

tom-brady-steven-jackson

Here are a few plays I’ll be making this week for NFL DFS.

Quarterbacks

Tom Brady – $7,400
I like Patriots players for the most part this week, and I’m not convinced on Peyton or Palmer. Brady rarely dissapoints, and always has the potential to rack up TDs.

Running Backs

D. Johnson – $6,500
Everyone will have him, but you’ll need to have to, at least in a decent amount of lineups. By far the best RB option available.

S. Jackson – $3,000
Patriots are known to have these journeymen RBs go off, and Steven Jackson playing his fourth game for NE may be primed to be that journeyman this week. Looks like he’s getting the carries for them, and he will likely be a popular play as well but a good one.

Wide Receivers

J. Edelman – $7,500
Tough to gauge the WR position this week, but I like Edelman due to his consistent high floor value, coupled with the potential of putting up a monster.

D. Funchess – $3,200
Cheap gamble at WR, but will have the weakest defender on him. A good spot if you’re looking to differentiate and he did put up 27 fantasy points 2 weeks ago.

J. Nelson – $2,000
A major gamble, but with Brown’s injury status and the likelihood of Panthers trying to take Fitzgerald away, Nelson may be asked to step up. He produced earlier in the season in a similar situation, even going for close to 30 fantasy points in one of them.

Tight Ends

G. Olson – $7,100
It’s tough to choose between Gronk and Olsen but I’m going to lean toward Olsen as he’s cheaper, playing a weaker D, he’ll likely be slightly less owned, and the Pats have more weapons to spread it out to.

Defenses

Carolina – $3,500
I think Palmer and Peyton are the two likely QBs to make the mistakes out of the four, so I lean toward Pats and Carolina’s defense. I give Carolina the edge because of Palmer’s history.

nba_jandunks_03

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/20 – DFS Lineups

nba_jandunks_03

Here are a few of my core DraftKings players for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy contests, Tuesday 1/20/16.

Point Guards

D. Lillard – $9,300
He and Butler have both been killing for me this year, and I like both tonight. Lillard has a tough OPRK which may make him less owned than some of the other superstars, and he has the ability to go for 60 any night with the way he is playing.

M. Smart – $5,000
He’s been a solid value play for the last few games, even putting up 51 fantasy points in one of them. Should continue to be great value at this price, and Toronto is semi-weak vs the PG.

D. Sloan – $4,800
He has been seeing around 30 minutes lately and scoring over a point per minute the last 10. Great price for that kind of production if he can keep it up.

Shooting Guards

J. Butler – $8,400
He’s been huge this year, and seems to be only getting better as the season progresses. Should be a fast paced-high scoring game vs GS.

Small Forwards

T. Harris – $6,100
Very consistent, averaging 38 minutes and 30 fppg the last 10 and has a very favorable matchup vs the lowly 76ers.

R. Covington – $5,800
Minutes are clearly increasing right now over the last 10 games by a large amount, playing well over 30. If he can get a little more production then he will be a steal.

Power Forwards

P. Patterson – $4,400
Over the last 10 games his minutes have gone from the low 20s to low 30s, and favorable matchup as Toronto is 27th vs the PF.

Centers

Z. Pachulia – $6,200
He’s scored 32+ fp in 8 of his last 10, and that’s with shooting the ball poorly. His ability to rack up rebounds is huge for his fantasy consistency, and he has a favorable matchup tonight vs Minnesota who is 24th ranked vs the center position.

danilo-gallinari

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/19 – DFS Lineups

danilo-gallinari

Here are a few of my DraftKings plays for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy contests, Tuesday 1/19/16.

Point Guards

B. Knight – $7,200
I like Knight tonight as he not only plays a ton of minutes and takes a lot of shots, but he’s playing in the second highest point total of the night. He has a tough OPRK, but that shouldn’t have much of an affect on his stats, and could help him be less owned, which is huge if he does by chance have a big game.

Shooting Guards

A. Wiggins – $6,900
I like Wiggins for similar reasons. He plays 35+ minutes, puts up a lot of shots, and plays against one of the worst defenses on the night (Pelicans). Average OPRK will help him be slightly less owned than deserved with this price and matchup.

E. Gordon – $5,100
A good price and matchup for a guy who plays 30+ minutes regularly and can still go off for 50.

G. Harris – $4,400
A steal for a guy playing 38+ minutes the last four games in what could be a high scoring affair.

Small Forwards

P. George – $9,200
I love George tonight. He falls into that magical sweet spot of “super stud + high point total + average OPRK”. Should be looked over a bit and should also score 50+ fantasy points.

D. Gallinari – $7,100
I’m targeting this game a lot as it’s the highest point total of the night, and he usually sees minutes in the high 30s and is more than capable of a huge one in with this matchup.

Power Forwards

J. Henson – $4,000
Definitely my gamble of the night, but he’s put up 25-30 fantasy points in 4 of his last 6 games. Production and minutes look like they could be on the rise, although a pretty tough matchup at Miami. He may come in handy if you need a cheap forward gamble.

Centers

K. Towns – $6,800
Will likely be a popular play tonight and for good reason. He’s playing vs one of the worst defenses in the league and also very weak in rebounding and vs the center.

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/13 – DFS Lineups

182407661LMJ0090_76ers_Pelicans copy-w600
Here are a few of my plays for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy contests, Tuesday 1/13/16.

Point Guards

R. Rondo – $8,600
This is definitely the game where the big points will be scored. Rondo is a little undervalued in this spot, especially because he is the 6th cheapest PG with the best matchup.

Shooting Guards

E. Gordon – $4,800
Again, this game is one I’ll be targeting. High point total, and Gordon usually plays 35+ minutes.

J. Lamb – $4,700
Still got over 30 minutes and played well after return of Batum. If he gets more minutes than Lin again then he’s a great value for this matchup.

Small Forwards

N. Batum – $7,400
Second game back from injury, Batum has a great matchup vs Atlanta who is 24th vs SF and 30th in rebounding.

J. Crowder – $6,400
His price is starting to peak but he’s still getting the minutes and production. He shoots a lot, and when his shots fall he can put up monsters.

Power Forwards

R. Anderson – $6,500
Getting another start while Anthony Davis is injured. Has been putting up about 40 minutes the last 2 games, and though his price has increased $600 since last game, he’ll still be worth it in this fast paced high scoring game.

Centers

A. Horford – $7,200
His price has gone up $600 over the last week or so, and for good reason. He’s on fire right now. Good value tonight as he has a decent matchup with an average OPRK.

F. Kaminsky – $4,400
With Al Jefferson still out, Kaminsky has fantastic value at this price although he may be a popular play.

76714761-590x428

NFL Daily Fantasy Lineups – Playoffs Round 2

76714761-590x428
Here are a few of my daily fantasy picks for this week in the NFL playoffs.

Quarterbacks

Peyton Manning – $6,000
No one in the league could’ve benefited from the last 6 weeks off more than Peyton and the Broncos. He also happens to have the best matchup of the weekend as well vs Pitt who tends to like to play shootouts, and the other quarterbacks have pretty tough matchups.

Carson Palmer – $6,500
It’s hard to believe he’s the 6th cheapest QBs, but I think he has the second best matchup of the weekend. He and Brady are huge beneficiaries of their extra week off rest and preparation wise.

Running Backs

D. Johnson – $6,000
Not a great matchup, but one of the better ones for the RB position this week. Has gone off for huge games, and is always good for 3-5 receptions or more.

F. Toussaint – $4,200
De’angelo Williams is still questionable, but if he misses this week then Toussaint will be a solid play as he should get a lot of touches, including receptions. Tough matchup, but decent gamble so long as Williams sits.

S. Jackson – $3,300
If you’re looking for a super cheap gamble, old legs Jackson might be your guy. James White is likely a safer play due to his receptions, but as long as the Pats keep it close or are ahead, Jackson could get 25+ carries.

Wide Receivers

A. Brown – $9,800
If he is cleared to play, you must have him as his numbers are near double every other WR stud available for this past season. Even if Landry Jones is throwing the ball, this guy is just much better than the rest.

D. Baldwin – $6,800
Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are playing great lately, and Baldwin is having big games somewhat regularly. If Carolina defense shows up, Baldwin will likely be affected the least of Hawks’ offensive weapons. He may be even more dangerous if Carolina’s pass rush cause plays to break down, and Russell and Baldwin to connect for a few huge plays.

E. Sanders – $5,800
Has possibly the best matchup as a receiver of the week, and no doubt Peyton has used their first round bye to prepare better than his competition. Thomas could also be the play here, but with Peyton on the field these guys’ production are pretty comparable, and Sanders is a decent amount cheaper.

J. Jones – $4,600
He has been playing great and Rodgers showing a lot of trust in him as the season grows late. Jones has a bigger floor than Cobb, a similar ceiling, and is cheaper. One of the best cheap WR plays out there right now.

Tight Ends

Luke Wilson – $2,600
Looks like he’ll be cleared to play, and he should be Seattle’s number 1 tight end. Certainly a gamble but he’s super cheap, will likely be low-owned, and has big potential.

no-1-draft-pick-andrew-wiggins-destroyed-the-toughest-player-to-dunk-on-in-the-nba

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/12 – Tuesday DFS Lineups

no-1-draft-pick-andrew-wiggins-destroyed-the-toughest-player-to-dunk-on-in-the-nba
Here are a few of my plays for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy contests, Tuesday 1/12/16.

Point Guards

J. Calderon – $4,100
I’m looking to spend big tonight on forwards, so I’ll be gambling on guards like Calderon who gets over 30 minutes a game and is cheap. He is capable of big games, but he has possibly the toughest matchup of the night so beware.

Shooting Guards

T. Evans – $8,100
Here’s a big spend I’ll be making at guard, and I think he’ll be low owned as he’s middle of the pack when it comes to top studs, and an average OPRK. But he plays the Lakers so he should be more than capable of blowing up.

A. Wiggins – $6,500
Another play that will likely be undervalued due to an average OPRK, Wiggins plays at home vs OKC in what should be a high scoring game.

R. Stuckey – $4,200
I like this value play tonight as his minutes are certainly on the rise, playing just under 30 minutes the last five games. He also plays the Suns who are 29th ranked defense and 26th against the SG. Garbage points potential if Pacers get up big.

Small Forwards

P. George – $9,100
Same theory here, as the Suns are dismal on defense and this game could get points. If Pacers do blow them out then George will still get his points. Extra edge with his OPRK being 11th, the majority may fade him.

K. Leonard – $8,400
I like the Pistons to cover this game, as Spurs are coming off back to back nights playing in Detroit. Because of the back to back games I expect Leonard to sit the least, and this game should be close to the end. Detroit 6th vs the SF but shouldn’t affect a player like Leonard too much.

Power Forwards

J. Parker – $4,900
Parker is good value at this price. He consistently plays 30-35 minutes and shoots the ball enough to put up big nights. He’s been shooting a lot more the last 4 games, and has a decent matchup vs Bulls who are playing back to back games.

Centers

S. Adams – $4,400
Points and minutes are increasing over the last 10 games, and he’s starting to produce a bit more consistently. For a cheap value play he has a pretty solid floor with a little bit of topside potential as well.

Chicago Bulls v Denver Nuggets

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/11 – Monday DFS Lineups

Chicago Bulls v Denver Nuggets
Here are a few of my plays for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy contests, Monday 1/11/16.

Point Guards

D. Rose – $6,000
I really like the guards in this game tonight. This is the highest point total of the night, and he’s been shooting almost as much as Butler at this point.

J. Wall – $9,400
High point total, but a bad OPRK. This means he will likely be less owned than he should be, but Wall is typically matchup proof and gets his points anyway. Fade the public and play him with confidence.

Shooting Guards

J. Butler – $8,300
On the flip side we have Butler, who has the best OPRK of the guards – Washington is 29th vs the SG. I’m going to be picking him in half of my lineups because of the high point total and the fact that I like the guards in this game a lot. His weak OPRK is the bonus, although it will make him a popular pick.

G. Green – $4,100
Great price for a guy whose been playing 34 minutes a game as of late. He may have extra value tonight as well if Golden State gets up big as the spread indicates, and the bench gets the fourth quarter minutes.

Small Forwards

O. Porter – $6,300
Certainly gets the minutes and is a very consistent 30+ fppg scorer. Matchup for the Bulls is good as they’re 28th vs the SF.

J. Johnson – $4,700
Worst matchup of the night, but I’m going to gamble on him as he plays 35+ minutes a game and he should be pretty low owned.

Power Forwards

D. West – $4,200
He’s certainly a gamble, as he doen’t typically get many more than 22 minutes. However he does produce when he plays averaging over 1 point per minute lately. He may get more minutes than usual tonight in garbage time if the game gets out of hand as the spread indicates it might.

Centers

H. Whiteside – $7,000
He will be low owned due to his OPRK among a few other reasons, but I think he has a better matchup than it seems. Not only will this game be somewhat high scoring, but Golden State shoots the ball an awful lot providing a ton of rebound potential.

780fe60c70e7850ab5f7216283a146cb_crop_north

NBA Daily Fantasy 1/8 – Friday DFS Lineups

780fe60c70e7850ab5f7216283a146cb_crop_north
Here are a few of my favorite plays for tonight’s NBA daily fantasy 1/8/16.

Point Guards

D. Lillard – $8,400
I love Lillard tonight, playing at home vs Golden State in a fast paced high total game. For the 5th most expensive guard he may have the highest ceiling. He may be slightly less owned that he deserves to be as well as his DraftKings OPRK is average.

C. Payne – $3,300
His minutes and production keep increasing, and his floor is getting higher. Playing at the Lakers who played a draining game last night, he may get even more minutes if OKC gets up big.

Shooting Guards

D. Booker – $4,700
Good value play, as he’s had over 30 minutes 4 of the last 5 games, and scored 35+ fantasy points 2 of the last 3. I see this trend continuing over the next 5 games, although he does have a tough matchup vs Heat.

Small Forwards

P. George – $9,100
I love spending on him tonight, as he is the 3rd most expensive SF but has a great matchup vs Pelicans in one of the highest point total of the night. May be slightly less owned than the other studs up top as well due to average OPRK.

T. Allen – $3,800
Averaging over 30 minutes and 25 fantasy points the last four games, it seems as though he’s starting to find a larger role. Decent matchup at home vs Denver, I think it’s a pretty solid value play.

Power Forwards

C. Bosh – $7,900
Bosh has been killing for me all year, and will likely be overlooked tonight due to average OPRK, as well as having Anthony Davis and Draymond Green above him. However the Suns’ defense and rebounding is overall very weak it’s actually a great matchup.

Centers

B. Lopez – $7,900
Best center playing tonight with an average matchup. He’s been a beast lately and shooting a ton. Look for another easy double-double and another huge game from Lopez tonight.

E. Kanter – $4,700
Value play tonight, as OKC goes vs LAL. Look for Kanter to get more than his usual 22 minutes due to this matchup and likely outcome, and he averages over a point per minute.
